British body armour firm PPSSGroup have announced the set-up of their PPSS Canada branch, based in Toronto.

Having received global recognition especially for their ultra-thin and light high performance bullet resistant vests in 2011, PPSS Group are equally well respected for their super tough stab resistant vests, offering unmatched protection from blunt force trauma.

Their development of Cut-Tex®PRO, one of the world’s strongest cut resistant fabrics, now used to manufacture comfortable cut and slash resistant clothing, was another genius step, which clearly highlighted their key objective of becoming a leading player within the world of quality Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

“Our potentially lifesaving equipment has been supplied to numerous homeland security agencies, emergency medical services and correctional facilities around the world, and we are now delighted to service our customers in Canada in the most efficient way”, Bill Geragthy, Vice President of PPSS Canada states.

Robert Kaiser, CEO of PPSS Group also commented, saying: “Due to the unquestionable demand for state of the art bullet and stab resistant vests, we have decided to make our outstanding equipment available to our Canadian customers without them having to worry about import duties, shipping cost and time consuming paperwork”.

He continued: “We must understand that we cannot buy safety, but we pay for it dearly, if we don’t have it. We can also not completely eliminate risk, but we can reduce it to an acceptable level, and this is exactly what we are trying to do”.

Helping to effectively protect frontline professionals from firearms, edged weapons and human bites is precisely what PPSS Group is all about.
