In most New Zealand frontline roles, especially corrections and private security, ballistic protection is not necessary. PPSS Group Stab vests are specifically designed for threats like knives, spikes, and blunt trauma and do not provide any certified ballistic protection.

Do your stab vests meet NZ standards?

While New Zealand does not have its own national stab resistance certification, our vests are certified to internationally recognised standards including CAST KR1/SP1 (Knife and Spike Protection), NIJ Standard 0115.00 Certification (Threat Level 1 Spike and Edged Blades) and VPAM W5 (German Standard for Blunt Force Protection).
